ART DECO MOVIE ALERTS (8/2006) - Its been a great year for Art Deco in the movies. OK, the movies haven't been that great but the architecture never disappoints. Inside Man takes you inside the extraordinary #20 Exchange Place in lower Manhattan. The Black Dahlia features a wonderful moderne house, designed by William Kessling, in the Silverlake district of Los Angeles. All The Kings Men shows bits of the wonderful Art Deco Louisiana State Capitol at Baton Rouge. Look for the stylized Deco pelicans and of course, the great seal of Louisiana.
