In the shadow of the Chrysler building stands a monument to a great Art Deco dynasty. You may not be familiar with the Chanin name but you'll recognize their contributions to the New York skyline. The Chanin brothers built the Majestic & Century apartments on Central Park, the Roxy theatre (which seated over 6000!) and the Green Acres housing development on Long Island.
This large, softcover book features hundreds of photos of the Chanin's (mostly Art Deco) creations. Published in 1982 and long out of print, the book measures 10" x 13-1/2". Its 110 pages with photos on almost every page. Reproduction is gorgeous.
Please note: Although beautifully printed these books were not individually wrapped by the printer. As a result, all have some "shopwear" meaning scuffs and/or minor corner bumping.
