Art Deco Separated at Birth #5 – Sun, Moon and Waves

I thought this particular Art Deco motif was unique to a single building in Mexico City, but it isn’t.

Edificio Gemelos – Mexico City

I found another, and there are probably more. Some people said it was the sun and waves; others said it’s the moon.

There’s a horizontal version of this too, but it’s different enough to be the work of another architect.
