Art Deco Separated at Birth #6 – The 5th Avenue Theater

In many places, the 5th Avenue Theater would be “the” Art Deco theater in town.  Or at least a fine example of Streamline Moderne architecture.  But in L.A. it’s just one of many and looks pretty forlorn these days.

The good thing about documenting things over many years is that you have a record of how they were. Sometimes, it’s a bad thing as well. Still, someone seems to be working on the place, so you never can tell….
